Designed around typical built Blaster setups: more exhaust duration, real pipes, decent carbs, and riders who don’t baby the throttle.

Recommended Engine Setup

  • Ported cylinder (trail or dune style)
  • Aftermarket pipe and silencer
  • Upgraded carburetor and intake
  • Good squish and compression set for your fuel

Ignition Behavior

  • Stronger midrange hit vs. stock
  • Curve designed to keep pulling instead of flattening
  • Tuned with respect for detonation when jetted correctly
  • Intended for riders who frequently use higher RPM

Install & Compatibility

  • Fits 1988–2002 Yamaha Blaster wiring
  • Works with stock stator or our timing advance kit
  • Verify grounds, clean connections, and proper plug cap/plug
