Install: Tri-Moto CDI (1980–1985)
Install is plug-and-play with the correct fitment harness.
On older machines, connector cleanliness matters as much as the part.
- Clean and re-seat connectors (contact cleaner + snug fit).
- Confirm solid engine/frame ground strap.
- Keep CDI isolated from vibration (rubber mounting is good).
- If you advanced timing (+° stator mod), test carefully for detonation.
