TORS & rev limiters (Blaster notes)
Blaster models used safety/limiter logic that can cause “won’t rev” symptoms.
Two common ones: TORS (Throttle Override System) and the parking brake rev limiter on some later years.
If the machine is stuck at a low RPM limit, verify these systems and their wiring first.
- Symptom: won’t rev / hits a low ceiling → check TORS and brake switch inputs.
- Loose/dirty connectors can trigger false limiter behavior.
- After changes, always verify the kill switch still works.
