How to mod stator timing using a jig

A timing jig makes stator mods repeatable and removes the guesswork.

• Mark your baseline before moving anything.
• Move in small steps (+1° to +2° at a time).
• Re-torque screws and re-check alignment.
• Test under load and listen for knock (especially top end).
